The wind load is defined as the force exerted on the building or even the solar PV modules.  This impact is split into 2 parts: wind pressure  – loading, also called front load and and wind suction loading, called rear load.

The first impacts the panels wind-facing side, while the second is the pressure on the underside of the panel. Due to these two exposed pressures on a panel in coastal areas, wind load is a key factor that should be considered when deciding on a solar panel brand for your solar system.

The panels wind load strength also determines how close to the edges of the roof the panels must be installed. The lower the wind load, the more setback from the gutter and the ridge should be allowed for, meaning legally less area of the roof is available to install the panels safely.

This is because by using in-house staff we are able to train them ourselves, making sure that they follow clearly outlines processes and methods. We will prescribe the cable thicknessto avoid voltage loss, or the number of tile clamps to be installed on one rail, to make sure the system is properly installed.
