Redback Solar Storage Solutions offers a single and a three-phase battery solution. The single phase model is coupled with a 5 kW inverter. The unit comes with a modular battery storage in a modern appealing design. You can have a 4.8kWh, 7 kWh, 9.6kWh and 11 kWh battery capacity – depending on your nightly consumption and specific battery needs such as your average nightly energy consumption.
The 3-Phase Hybrid inverter and battery combines a 10kW solar inverter and modular battery storage system of up to 28kWh.
The batteries offer uninterrupted power supply, meaning they have a backup capacity, which we consider one of most important features of a solar storage battery. What is the point of having a solar battery, and when the grid goes down, the fridge content will still be spoilt?
The Redback batteries are compatible with almost every solar system, therefore can be used in a new solar install as a solar and battery combo, or as a retro fit to an existing solar PV system.
Being a highly integrated solar and battery storage solution, it will fit seamlessly into your garage or outside your home as there is no need for extra cabling or cabinets.
The technology has been engineered, tested and supported in Australia and the company has its head office in Brisbane.

TESLA
Tesla Powerwall 2 has a capacity of 13kWh making it one of the larger domestic solar batteries currently available. It is AC coupled and can be added to an existing solar system without the need for a separate solar battery inverter.

The SolarEdge Energy Bank is a DC coupled 10kWh solar storage battery. While SolarEdge is best known for their optimised inverters, they have a lot of experience with solar batteries. They were the original battery management system for Tesla. They have close to 100,000 residential systems with batteries from Tesla and LG on them worldwide and they own Kokam, an industry leader in battery chemistry and utility storage.

Q.HOME is a modular lithium-ion solar battery integrated with a 5kW solar inverter. The battery is scalable from 6.86kWh up to a maximum of 3 units which would give you a storage capacity of 20.5kWh.

LG Prime
LG Prime solar batteries are DC coupled making them energy efficient. They require a separate inverter so can’t be added to an existing system. Compatible with SolarEdge or LGs own inverter for integrated monitoring and smart use of your power.
