GRANT FOR SOLAR ON APARTMENTS

Solar panels installed on a large commercial building's roof for energy efficiency.

Masive 50% Saving on Shared Roof Top Solar

Thanks to a new grant program from the NSW Government, residents of apartments and other strata controlled units can get a solar power system for their shared roof at half the usual cost.  Solarpro’s experts can talk you through the requirements and assist with the application as well as installing the solar system.  Give us a call to discuss the grant and the best solar options for your building.

A total of $25 million in funding has been allocated to the grant, with up to $150,000 available per project.  Owners corporations can apply for the grant on qualifying apartment buildings and other multi-unit residences in NSW and it is advisable to get your application in as quickly as possible

The grant is designed to help apartment residents, including renters, to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.

We have recently introduced new optimised solar panels to our panel range.  The all black version is shown in the photo on a commercial building. These panels are designed to manage shade with lower priced string inverters.  They could be an excellent option for a shared roof top system.  Below are details of who can apply for the grant and a link to the NSW government site or feel free to give us a call to hear more about your options and for assistance with applying.

Who can apply

Only owners corporations or strata managers can apply for the grant.  It can be done through this link Solar for Apartment Residents grant.
